The Draft Analyst’s 2022 NHL Draft Report is the most comprehensive guide available.
In its seventh year of publication, our annual draft report continues to provide the most complete and detailed coverage of the NHL draft beyond just picks and prospects. This year’s version contains team-by-team summaries and farm-system depth charts that summarize the current and future state of all 32 NHL franchises. Of course, there are over 150 prospect profiles, with the first 96 draft-eligible prospects receiving a full-page profile that include lengthy scouting reports covering four critical skill areas. We also added a top-32 ranking with scouting reports on the strong 2023 draft class that includes potential superstars Connor Bedard and Matvei Michkov.
Also new for this year is the most extensive historical overview of the NHL draft lottery ever created, with year-by-year results, details on all the format changes, and summaries that add context to each individual drawing.
